Fall 2026 Digital Edition Coming Soon!Thought-provoking lesson plans for Fall 2026:
The call of missionary discipleship to embrace the human dignity of everyone around the globe.
Grades K-2
United in Mission, Fall 2026
25-30 minutes
Using the simple frame "Jesus Sends Us to Share His Love," this lesson introduces young students to the Almanza family's move to Bolivia through Solomon's kid-level narration, then invites them to name one person they can share God's love with this week — anchored in the CST theme of Life and Dignity of the Human Person.
Grades 3–5
United in Mission, Fall 2026
35-45 minutes
Told through the voice of 11-year-old Siena Almanza, this lesson centers on the tension between comfort and calling — choosing Maryknoll over "the house with the white picket fence" — helping students see that being sent by Jesus doesn't require certainty, only willingness. (Also available in Spanish.)
Grades 6–8
United in Mission, Fall 2026
35- 45 minutes
This lesson traces Ray and Liz Almanza's full discernment story — Liz's cancer diagnosis, Ray's ministry background, their Covenant and Sending Ceremony — pushing students past recognition-level engagement to evaluate how "leaving the shore" embodies the CST principle of Life and Dignity of the Human Person in concrete, costly terms.
