We’ve
moved!
If you ever became lost trying to find the San Leandro office, tucked behind the St. Alphonsus parish and the Chevron gas station, you’ll appreciate the easy trip to the new office. Located in San Lorenzo in the St. John the Baptist parish convent, (about a mile west of San Leandro) we are near to Hwy 238 and 880. The office has parking facilities and is easily accessible by public transportation being only a few minutes bus ride (AC Transit 93) from Bay Fair BART station.
Mission
Resource Library. Another
feature of the new office is the Mission Resource Library. All
the Maryknoll videos, posters, and magazines, as well as most Orbis
books are located conveniently in one spot. These resources
are available for browsing, lending, or purchase. Come and
check out our mission resources!
Compact
Bookstore. Our compact bookstore
is located just inside the front entrance and we have better space
available to feature even more of your favorite Orbis books,
posters, rosaries, and videos.
Mission Forums.
Beginning in March, we will bring back the
Mission Forums as an opportunity for people to gather to hear
presentations and discuss what’s happening in the missions.
These gatherings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month
starting at 7:30 p.m.
Staff. In addition to the Mission Education and Promotion team, Deacon Matt Dulka, Marie Wren, and Kris East you will see a new faces around the office. Brother Tim Raible is down from Seattle and will be sharing office space with us as he continues to work as a Vocations Minister. Please join us in welcoming Tim to the Bay Area! You may also get a chance to meet our housemates: Sisters Joan, Theresa, and Flo (Sisters of Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary)
